Katthak is a wonderful blend of two cultures Hindu and Muslim. Therefore there are two types of costumes in kathak. The first type of costume includes lehenga-choli further defining a long banjara top choli or a shorter sari blouse style choli and veil for women and girls or dhoti kurta for men and boys. The other type of kathak costume includes an "angarakshakand veil" for women and girls and kameez churidaar vest for men and boys. These attires are very gaudy and elegant to look at. One feel mesmerized after wearing it. The anarkali type salwar kameez is an ideal dress for katthak along with elegant Duppata.We provide a beautiful contrast color for the dress with embroidery work and a matching border with it. Along with the beautiful look it is easy washable and durable also. jewellery is not included.
Dust or wipe clean with a cloth dampened with water once a week. Be sure not to leave water spots on the surface. These water spots will dry and could possibly leave permanent marks.
Clean stains/spots using the following steps: Dampen a soft cloth with a mixture of hot water and liquid dishwashing detergent. Wring the cloth as much as possible to remove excess liquid. Rub the surface lightly in a circular motion. Dry the surface immediately with a clean, soft towel.
